F-B Advance Com Webmaster designs new website

for the Mahnomen school district.

Webmaster, Chris Christian, recently completed a new website for the Mahnomen school district. Supt. Jeff Besik contacted Yvonne Halvorson asking for some assistance in a new design for his school’s webpage. It was decided that F-B’s Advance Com web building company would do the initial design. Halvorson assigned the task to senior webmaster Chris Christian. Chris met with Supt. Besik at F-B to set up the initial plans for the site, and then further design communication was done through e-mail. Chris posted the “draft site” on F-B’s webpage under Halvorson’s staff page so that Supt. Besik could evaluate it and make changes. Upon completion of the site it Supt. Bisik made arrangements with Halvorson to get training for his staff members who are involved with updating Mahnomen’s website. On Feb 9, four ladies from the Mahnomen staff came to F-B and met with Chris for instruction. Chris showed them how the website was set up, gave instruction in the use of Dreamweaver (the program was new to them), and taught them how to update and upload to the website. Mahnomen’s plans were to upload the new website to their server on the 16^th. Chris received high reviews for the fine job he did in both design and in his instruction. Chris also agreed to be “on call” if further instruction or help is needed. Good Job Chris!
